Books &Curriculums
Books are a necessity in my house and they are becoming even more essential with raising “little learners”. I love Catholic spiritual reading, sweet children’s storybooks, and good homeschool curriculums. Here are some of my favorite shops for books and educational materials.

Tan Books
I love Tan Books collection of the spiritual reading classics! Here are some amazing book recommendations: The Confraternity Leather Book Set (which contains my favorite version of the Imitation of Christ), any of the books in the Tan Classics Collection (which includes Story of a Soul, Introduction to the Devout Life, Interior Castle, and True Devotion to Mary), and the collection of Theology of Home Books.
Tan offers a wide variety of options for homeschool book bundles, curriculums, and resources, explore them here.
Check out my favorite Tan published children’s books on the “For Kids” Market page.

Ignatius Press
Ignatius Press published one of my all time favorite books and I recommend it highly to everyone: The Power of Silence by Cardinal Sarah. While you are on the site, check out World’s First Love by Fulton Sheen, Spirit of the Liturgy by Cardinal Ratzinger, 33 Days to Morning Glory and 33 Days to Merciful Love by Fr. Gaitley, Into Your Spirit by Fr. Stinsen, and the many great apologetic writings of Peter Kreeft. They have an extensive library of Benedict XVI as well! Lastly, one of my “Liturgical Living” staples from Ignatius Press has been Kendra Tierney’s Catholic All Year Compendium.
Their site also offers some homeschool book bundles or classic literature, Shakespeare, and lives of the Saints.

Sophia Press
Sophia Press has these great books: I Believe in Love, Search for and Maintaining Peace (the book I will read over and over again the rest of my life) and two great books by Lariane Bennett: The Little Way of Living with Less, and The Temperament God Gave You. They also have a great selection of Missals & Hymnals. For prayer, I recommend these two books: The Little Office of Mary and Divine Intimacy.
Through their site, you can subscribe to Benedictus: A Traditional Catholic Prayer Book mailed monthly.
Their homeschool curriculum is called Spirit of Truth for K-8. I have a few Sophia Press published children’s books listed on the “For Kids” Market page.
