10 Ways to Decorate Your Home with Saint Polaroids

The January Jane Shop

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know I love the January Jane Shop(Discount Code: M&H10) Jana has created a beautiful business with the simple concept of Saint Polaroids!  Each polaroid displays a photo which portrays the saints as real people like you and me. On the back, they have the story of the Saint’s life.

We love the Saint Polaroid Packs in our home.  They are always on display and make the Saints feel like our family members.  My 3 year old daughter has loved looking through the polaroids since she was about 1.5 years old and knows them by name.

10 Ways to Use Saint Polaroids in Your Home

If you are thinking of buying these Polaroids, but are not sure how you would use them, I have created this list for you!

1. The Wall Hanging

Make a gallery wall or multiple gallery walls! Hang them in individual frames or attach them to string with clothespins.

2. The Saints Album

Create a “My Saints Album”. Make an album of all the Saint Polaroids! This could be a simple album or even a scrapbook! It would also be a great way to store them so you can find them easily to display on feast days.

3. The Feast Day Frame

Put a photo frame of a Saint on the kitchen table each month when their feast day falls.  We love doing this in our house.  It builds the excitement and anticipation for their special day!

4. The Saint of the Month

Have kids pick a Saint to be their Saint for the week/month/year.  Put the Saint on display where your kids do homework or homeschool to remind them of the Saint of the Month.

5. Calendar Photos

Make a big calendar to hang at home and put their polaroid on their feast day so kids can look ahead and get excited for the coming feast days.  Jana has big polaroids as well as mini’s.  The mini’s would be my recommendation for this idea.

6. A Collage Quote Board

Make a collage quote board on a bulletin board or magnet board with some of their most moving quotes.

7. Cards for Play

Laminate them and give them to babies/kids as cards to play with and learn from! (My daughter enjoyed this activity as early as 1.5 years old!)

8. A Beautiful Gift Idea

Attach them to gifts for friends and family! I’m picturing a brown paper wrapped gift with a beautiful black and white photo tied with string. Picture perfect!

9. Decor Around the House

Place them in a name card/place card holder around the house, on shelves, by kitchen sink, on desks etc. This creates a beautiful little vintage aesthetic.

But, my most favorite use of all is…

10. The All Saints Day Celebration

Here is my favorite.  Get the complete collection and have the most beautiful celebration on All Saints Day!  We hang them all around our candlelit dining room table and sing a Litany of Saints together before our meal.  It has become the most beautiful family tradition and we look forward to it each year!
